Waste sorting is an important step in waste management strategies. Waste management is important for sustainable development. Sustainable development is good for our environment and planet. So helping our planet can begin with a simple act that each of us have to do: sorting our waste.

I know that several of us do it already, however how to encourage more people to sort their wastes?

The key of this project is to find sponsors who accept to propose very attractive coupons to participate into this initiative. Companies that sell everyday products could be a good target. Bins could have a sticker with the sponsors’ logos.

The added value for stakeholders:

Sponsor: Show that he cares about the garbage produced by the packaging of his products and that he is sensitive to ecological issues. And also he promotes his products (via coupons).

Clients: Have a recycling bin for almost free; feel that he/she is participating to solve an ecological issue; receive a comprehensive educational program about waste management (Book, DVD, Stickers…).

Company that launches this program: Earn money ethically! It will be great if this company allocates a part of his earning to finance NGOs that militate for better world, and to employs people who share this vision.
